Shreyas Bhat

My name is Shreyas, and I’m a third-year Health Sciences student. I took MICR 290 in 2nd year and had the opportunity to work with a lot of different bacterial techniques, and I started volunteering with the Lohans Lab the following summer. For my undergraduate project, I’m working to develop a method of quantifying zinc levels inside bacterial cells that can hopefully be used to investigate how beta-lactamase resistant cells respond to nutritional immunity. Outside of the lab, I love to crochet, play video games, and use Blender for 3D design!
