Mina Jordanides

I am in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program pursuing my HSCI 591/593 project under the supervision of Professor Lohans and Montse Mora Ochomogo. During co-infections, β-lactam susceptible bacteria are able to survive in the presence of resistant bacteria, known as antibiotic sheltering. My project aims to determine whether a specific cell viability assay, called resazurin, can be used to measure antibiotic sheltering. I’m very excited to explore and learn more about the topic! Outside of school, you can find me at the pool swimming or playing water polo!
