Krystal Herfst

I am a third-year Bachelor of Health Sciences student at Queen’s University. I first became interested in antibiotic resistance research when I took MICR 290 with Professor Lohans in my second year. My undergraduate research project involves exploring cost-effective ways to measure leakage of periplasmic components. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, and playing board games with my housemates.
