Josephine Liu

I am currently in my fourth year of my Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, pursuing my undergraduate thesis (HSCI598/599) under the supervision of Professor Lohans and Mitchell Jeffs. My project is concerned with resistant Urinary Tract Infections. Specifically, I am investigating if changes in urine pH impact B-lactamase activity and clinical detection of B-lactam resistant uropathogens. Having also completed my WorkStudy and NSERC USRA in the Lohans Lab, I am incredibly excited to continue learning and growing here! Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing various sports, running, and drawing (I created the Lohans Lab logo!)
