Jinny Yu

My name is Jinny, and I am a Master’s student in the Lohans Lab. After taking MICR 290, taught by Dr. Lohans, I became interested in understanding the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance and exploring strategies to prevent it and identify potential alternatives. I completed both my third- and fourth-year thesis projects in the Lohans Lab, which then led me to pursue my Master’s degree here. Outside of academics and lab work, I enjoy playing the viola and listening to classical music!
