Jessica Eckel-Foster

My name is Jessica and I am in my third year of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at Queen’s. After taking Dr Lohans’ microbiology and antibiotic resistance lab courses, I developed an interest in the mechanisms of infectious disease and antibiotic resistance. Through volunteering with the lab, I’ve gained experience with many lab techniques involving microbiology and biochemistry. Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding and playing beach volleyball.
