Alexandria Veitch

Hi there! My name is Alexandria, and I am a fourth-year Health Sciences student.  I first became drawn to antibiotic resistance after taking MICR 290 with Dr. Lohans, and am super excited for the opportunity to further apply this in my honours thesis in the Lohans Lab! My project will be focusing on optimizing the lab’s previously-made diagnostic tests for the detection of beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.
