Aditi Bhaskar

My name is Aditi Bhaskar and I am in my fourth year in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program here at Queen’s University. I became interested in antibiotic resistance and microbiology in general after taking MICR290 (Antibiotic Resistance Lab) taught by Dr. Lohans. I will be completing my HSCI 598/599 project this year at the Lohans lab by helping develop a colorimetric assay to detect ESBL (extended spectrum beta-lactamase) producing bacteria. Outside of academics and research I enjoy reading books, crocheting and listening to music.
